Marilyn Hubble Obituary
Marilyn Elizabeth Hubble, a beacon of love and gentleness, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2025, in Rector, Arkansas. Born on December 30, 1947, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, she was a daughter of the late Van and Mildred Wilson Stidman. Marilyn's life was a tapestry of devotion to her family, a testament to her loving nature, and a reflection of the joy she found in simple pleasures.
After graduating from high school, Marilyn furthered her education at a business college, equipping herself with the skills that would serve her well in her professional life. As a secretary and bookkeeper, she was known for her meticulous attention to detail and her unwavering reliability. Her colleagues often spoke of her gentle demeanor and the warmth she brought to the workplace.
Her heart found its counterpart in Fred Hubble, and together they built a life filled with love and mutual respect. Marilyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, as well as her parents and her in-laws, L.C. and Gladys Hubble. Her legacy of love continues through her children, Hae Sun and Brad Weber, Amanda Hubble and DJ, and Jeffery and Amber Hubble. Marilyn's joy was multiplied with the births of her grandchildren, Mitchell and Chandler Weber, Reed Weber and Shawntel, Ryleigh and Jacob Beck, Easton Laden, Ean Hubble, Brianna Hubble and Dalton, and further still with her great-grandchildren, Jennings, Davis, Kamden, and Kamry.
Marilyn's siblings, Manford "Sonny" Stidman, Jo Ann, and Kathy Stidman, will cherish memories of their sister's unwavering support and kindness. Her life was a testament to the bonds of family, and she will be deeply missed by her brother, her sisters, and a host of special relatives and friends who were touched by her grace.
A lover of nature's beauty, Marilyn found solace and joy in working in her flower garden, her hands shaping the earth as she cultivated beauty around her home. Her adventurous spirit shone through in her travels to the lake with her family, where laughter and stories were shared, and memories were made. At her side, often, was her loyal dog, whose companionship was a source of great comfort and happiness.
Marilyn Elizabeth Hubble was the embodiment of love, thoughtfulness, and gentleness. Her life was a lesson in the quiet power of kindness, the strength of a soft word, and the impact of a caring heart. As we bid farewell to Marilyn, we hold tight to the memories she gave us, the love she shared, and the gentle touch of her hand that will be felt for generations to come. Her spirit, a gentle whisper on the wind, will forever be woven into the fabric of the lives she touched.
