Richard Taylor Obituary

Richard Verlyn Taylor, 59, of Paragould, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025. He was born November 27, 1965, to R.V "Buster" Taylor and Mae Rita Williams. Richard was an Army Veteran and worked maintenance for 20+ years at Paragould School District. He was a lifetime member of the VFW American Legion and was a Past Master with the Paragould Masonic Lodge #368. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved fishing, camping, and woodworking. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Michelle Rogers. Survivors include his niece, Stephanie West; and his great-nieces and nephews, Levi West (Emily), Kendall Huffstetler, and Taylor Huffstetler. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 16, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery. Levi West, Chris West, John Carter, Kenny Hall, Allen Russom and Chris Russom will serve as pallbearers.
