Sheri Ann Lenderman, aged 56, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born on April 4, 1969, in Jacksonville, Arkansas, and throughout her life, she embodied the spirit of love, creativity, and adventure. Sheri was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth and generosity touched the hearts of all who knew her.
Sheri's love for her family was the cornerstone of her life. Her granddaughters were the light of her existence, and she dedicated countless hours to creating beautiful memories with them.
Traveling was one of Sheri's greatest passions. She reveled in the excitement of exploring new places, whether it was a quaint village or a sprawling city. The beach, in particular, was her sanctuary, where the sound of the waves and the feel of the sand beneath her feet provided a sense of peace and renewal.
Sheri was also an accomplished runner, having completed numerous 5K, 10K, and half marathons. Her discipline and determination were evident in every stride she took.
An ardent animal lover, Sheri had a special affinity for horses, dogs, and cats. Her pets were her companions, and she shared a unique bond with each of them.
Sheri's journey was marked by her incredible battle with multiple myeloma, which she faced head-on in 2018. Despite the challenges of enduring countless chemotherapy treatments and two stem cell transplants, she handled each obstacle with remarkable grace. Sheri's smile never wavered, and her strength made her a true warrior in the eyes of all who knew her. Her resilience paid off, and she celebrated five years of being cancer-free, a milestone that filled her and her loved ones with immense gratitude and joy.
Sheri was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Eugene Colbert; stepfather, Winston Hollis; and grandparents, Jimmy and Pearl Williams.
