Bobby Meadows Obituary

LAKE CITY - Bobby Gene Meadows, 76, of Lake City, departed this life on Jan. 9, 2025, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro surrounded by the love of his family.

He was born on Jan. 15, 1948, to E.A and Emma Meadows and raised in the Caraway area.

Bobby served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam in 1968 and 1969, and retired from Lincoln Manufacturing in Jonesboro after 22 years. He loved classic vehicles, spending time with family and yard work. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Pat Meadows; one son, Kevin Meadows of Trumann; one daughter, Shondia Meadows (Johnny) Hildebrand of Lake City; four grandchildren: Taylor Meadows of Trumann, Noah Davis of Fayetteville, Kirby Knuckles of Jonesboro, and Mason Knuckles of Lake City; one great-grandchild: Liam Meadows and another on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson Dustin Meadows.

A visitation will be held at the Gregg Funeral Home in Monette on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025, at 1 p.m.

A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Johnny Hildebrand officiating.
