David Rees Obituary

JONESBORO - Frank "David" Rees, 72, of Jonesboro passed away Saturday, Aug. 12, 2023, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born July 17, 1951, in Memphis to the late Harold and Thelma Rees.

David was a member of First Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Arkansas State University and South Texas College of Law. While at ASU, David was in Sigma Phi Epsilon.

David practiced law in Jonesboro from 1979-2011. David was also an avid sports fan who loved the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Dallas Cowboys.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his son, Kyle Rees.

Survivors include his two daughters, Julie Frumin and her husband Michael Frumin of Westlake Village, Calif., and Mallory Rees and her husband Joseph "Beau" Carucci of Agoura Hills, Calif.; two brothers, Robert (Darrah) Rees of Jonesboro and John (Debbie) Rees of Little Rock; and four grandchildren, Ryan Frumin and Elyse Frumin, both of Westlake Village and Eloise Rees-Carucci and Luca Rees-Carucci, both of Agoura Hills.
