MANILA - Erik Michael Kroll, age 40, of Manila, passed from this life Tuesday, March 18, 2025, in Jonesboro. Son of Ralph Kroll and the late Debbie Martens Kroll, he was born in Germany and spent much of his early life in Wisconsin. Erik had been a Manila resident for nine years and was a supply chain supervisor at Nucor-Yamato. Erik loved coaching softball. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Survivors include his wife of 8 years, Ashley Kroll of the home; one son, Leo Michuda-Kroll of Manila; two daughters, Amarie Kroll and Annalie Kroll both of Manila; his father, Ralph Kroll of Ind.; two sisters, Amanda Kroll and Ciara Alvey both of Wis.
Funeral service will be today at 2 p.m. at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Dr. Matt Pryor officiating. The family will receive visitors from 12 p.m. until service time.
