DENVER - Jennifer Renée Cox, 45, of Denver, formerly of Jonesboro, passed from this life Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022, at Sky Ridge Hospital in Lone Tree, Colo.
She was born Sept. 14, 1976, in Jonesboro to Stephen and Sandy Clark.
She had resided in Denver for the last 22 years after being born and raised in Jonesboro.
Jennifer was of the Christian faith. She was very outdoorsy and loved to ski. Jennifer enjoyed spending time with her husband Clint, her friends and traveling abroad for work
She loved going on long walks with her two dogs, Twiggy and Aspen.
Jennifer was a 1994 graduate of Jonesboro High School. Jennifer graduated cum laude from Arkansas State University with a bachelor's degree. She then received her Master of International Business and Marketing Strategy from Regis University in Denver.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Robert and Adgelene Ferguson, and her paternal grandfather, William E. Clark, and aunt, Jill Clark Peace.
Jennifer is survived by her husband, Clint Cox of the home; daughter, Maggie Barnes and husband Garrett; grandson, Tate; mother, Sandra Ferguson Clark; father, Stephen Clark and wife Karen; grandmother, Naomi Ruth Clark; aunts and uncles, Kathy and Stan McPike and Robin and James Hunter; and cousins, Derek McPike and wife Whitney, Adam McPike and wife Becky, John McPike and wife Aimee, Will Hunter, David Bassi and wife Nicole and Paige Sparks and husband Brennan.
A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Emerson Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Brother Trey Rose officiating.
Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery and active pallbearers will include Garrett Barnes, Ryker Little, Bobby Coyle II, Derek McPike, Adam McPike and John McPike.
