CASH - Norma Jean (Dale) Cox, 82, of Cash, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at her home. She was born on Aug. 15, 1942, in Cushman, to Everett and Frances (Steward) Dale. Norma Jean was a homemaker and was a member of the Little Texas Missionary Baptist Church. She loved fishing, gardening, word searches, gospel and country music.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband of 64 years, Jerry Dean Cox; 5 brothers, Mardell, Verdell, Gerald, Danny and David Dale.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Pam Hill (Harlan), Angie Gorbet (Steve); grandchildren, Ryan Hill (Chesney), Shayne Hill and one great-grandchild, Sadie Hill; brothers, Teo Dale, Darrell Dale (Teresa); sister, Wilma Russell (Freddy).
Funeral service will be Thursday, July 31, 2 p.m., at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 W. Washington Ave., Jonesboro, with Terry Simmons officiating. Burial will follow at Redd Cemetery.
Visitation will begin prior to the service at 1 pm.
The Pallbearers will be Ryan Hill, Shayne Hill, Wayne Carlton, Harlan Hill, Steve Gorbet and Anthony Estes.
Honorary pallbearers will be Scotty Gibson, Brandon Walker, Daniel Walker, Bob Wortham, Barry Priest, Jerome Pettit, and Donnie Jackson.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in Norma Jean's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tenn., 38105.
All services are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.
