JONESBORO - Robert Ed Lightfoot, 73, of Jonesboro, passed away at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House on July 1, 2023. He was born Oct. 17, 1949, in Houston, Texas, to Delbert Lightfoot and Dorothy Clark.
He was the founder of Rescuing Our Vets and enjoyed helping them with all of their needs. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and meeting new people.
Survivors include his loving wife, Debbie Williams of the home, and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert Lightfoot and Dorothy Clark, and one son, Shawn Freeman.
The family has requested private arrangements under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
