JONESBORO - Rollen Lee Swink, 66, of Jonesboro, passed away Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024. Rollen was born May 15, 1958, in Rector, to Melvin Othellis Swink and Venoliur Pauline Swink.
He worked for Rus Corr II in Harrisburg. He loved his family with all his heart. Rollen had a servant's heart, known for his generosity and kindness and for helping everyone he could. He loved to fish and work in the yard.
Rollen was a member of Central Baptist Church in Jonesboro and helped his wife Deborah teach Sunday school for many years. He loved God with all his heart.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Deborah Ann Hamrick Swink of the home; children, Brad Dewayne Swink and wife Madison of Lake City and Kimberly McGuire and husband Shawn McGuire of Wynne; and grandchildren, Caleb Swink, Alexis Swink, Matthew McCoy and Jackson McCoy, Samuel Swink, Ethan McGuire, Sadi Swink and Goldie Swink.
He is also survived by his siblings, Melvin Jr. Swink and wife Carol Swink and Janie Ruth Crosby and husband Bob.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Sr. and Venoliur Pauline Swink, and baby brother, Dewayne Swink.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Visitation was from 10 until 11 a.m. Monday at Kernodle Funeral Home. Funeral services followed at 11 a.m. with burial in Crosslawn Cemetery. Kernodle Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
