TRUMANN - Ruby Nell Stroman Martin of Trumann, passed away on Dec. 22, 2024, at the age of 81 years. She was born Aug. 25, 1943, in Terrell, Texas, to the late William "Bill" and Pearl Casto Stroman also of Terrell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Thomas "Garey" Martin of Trumann as well as her brothers, Dale Stroman, Jack Stroman, Paul Stroman, William T. "Billy T." Stroman, James Stroman and Paul Crow, and her sisters, Lila Crow Geddings, Thelma Crow Burgess, Gladys Crow Moore, Bonnie Crow Dudley and Jessie Crow Cramblet, all of Texas.
Ruby was a member of First Baptist Church in Trumann. Prior to becoming a housewife, she worked office positions in the hospital, insurance and funeral home industries. Because of her lifelong love of reading, she began working part time at the Trumann Public Library until her retirement.
She is survived by her daughter, Amy Jo Martin Privett of Jonesboro, as well as her nieces, Donna (Jack) Ferguson and Darci (Bob) Richards of Virginia.
A private burial service was held Thursday, in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Amy, we share your sorrow at the loss of your mother. Are prayers are for you and your family. Ruby is safe now in the arms of the Lord and Garey. Her pain is gone. Would have loved to come to her funeral.
