ROLAND SPORHASE Obituary

ROLAND SPORHASE Roland Ralph Sporhase was born to Fritz and Alice (Auer) Sporhase on April 12, 1944 in Nebraska City, Nebraska. He graduated from Syracuse High School. Roland was united in marriage to Joyce E. Laug at the St. Paul's United Church of Christ (Maple Grove) Church, rural Tecumseh, Nebraska. This union was blessed with two children, Cari Sue and Mark Wm. Roland and Joyce made their home near Otoe, Nebraska where Roland was engaged in farming. He passed away May 21, 2025 at the Johnson County Hospital in Tecumseh, Nebraska at the age of 81 years. Roland is survived by his wife Joyce, son Mark Sporhase and fiance' Sheryl Stone, grandson Tucker John, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fritz and Alice and beloved daughter Cari Sue (1-2-2002.) Private family graveside services will be held at Park Hill Cemetery in Syracuse, Nebraska with Pastor Mary Grundman officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family's choice, with the funeral home in charge. Arrangements entrusted to Wherry Mortuary, Tecumseh, Nebraska. 402-335-2921
