Carl Spulick Obituary
Born in Hartford on Jan. 12, 1939, he was the son of the late Charles and Audrey (Glover) Spulick. He resided in Suffield for over 67 years. Prior to his retirement in 1995, Carl was employed with the United States Postal service for 38 years. After his retirement, Carl worked with the Suffield Mini Bus and Hallmark Cards. Carl was also a U.S. Army Reservist, and an avid New York Yankees fan.
He will be dearly missed by his loving family; his wife, Lorraine (Kulas) Spulick of Killingworth; his two daughters, Sharon Sarno, and her husband, Robert, of Enfield, and Susan Berlepsch, and her husband, William, of Killingworth; five grandchildren, Michael, Karen, and Stacey Suleski, all of Enfield, Melissa Lieberman of Old Saybrook, Peter Lieberman of Lakewood Ranch, Florida; and one great-grandchild, Cameron of Old Saybrook. He leaves a sister, Maxine (Prior) Olexia of Zellwood, Florida. He is predeceased by a sister, Geraldine Prowe of Avon.
A church service will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2014, at 4 p.m. at the Second Baptist Church in Suffield. His family will receive friends immediately after the service in Fellowship Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Suffield Mini Bus Reserve Fund, 83 Mountain Road, Suffield, CT 06078; or Middlesex Hospice, 28 Crescent St., Middletown, CT 06457.
