Charlene Boudreau-Criscitelli Obituary

Longtime resident of Enfield Charlene Boudreau-Criscitelli left this earth to sing with the angels Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, with her family by her side after a brief illness.

Born in Elmira, New York, to the late Alice and James Brenzi, she moved to Hartford where she graduated from Hartford Public High School. Beginning her working career as a telephone operator, she held various jobs including 10 years as a shipping and receiving clerk at Finest Grocery Warehouse in Windsor Locks. Prior to retirement she worked at the Enfield Federal Credit Union as a teller and Thompsonville Drug as a pharmacy technician. Charlene lived her life with a passion for music, and she loved to sing and spend time with her large family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Louis Criscitelli Jr. of Enfield, and a large and loving family, including her daughter and son-in-law Jaime and Charles Macsata of Enfield, son and daughter-in-law Michael and Lynn Boudreau of Springfield, son and daughter-in-law David and Jennifer Boudreau of Somers, and stepson and daughter-in-law Kevin and Christine Criscitelli of Enfield; sister-in-law Linda Carmon and husband, Richard, of Suffield; brother-in-law Ronald Criscitelli and wife, Virginia; sister-in-law Maryann and husband, James Donovan; and sister-in-law Christine Criscitelli, all from Enfield. She also leaves her loving sister and niece, Sigrid Byrnes and Elyse Ebert of Hauppauge, New York; and her best friend of more than 60 years, Frances Hughes of Clinton. Charlene also leaves behind her beloved eight grandchildren, Nicholas and Anthony Macsata, Amanda Willse, Melanie, Joseph, Rachel, Devin, and Luke Boudreau; and seven great-grandchildren, Kathryn and Curtis Chase, Kasey, Charles, Rylee, Dylan, and Brayden Macsata, and many nieces and nephews. She joins in heaven her daughter Renee Boudreau; and stepdaughter Tracie Criscitelli.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels has been entrusted with the arrangements.
