Constance Finnegan Obituary

Constance Finnegan, 68, of Manchester, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Daughter of the late Doug and Kitty Russell, Connie graduated from WHS and attended St. Joseph's College and the University of Connecticut. She retired from Sears after 25 years and MARC Inc. of Manchester after 15 years.

She leaves her children, Peter, Sharon, and Sean; her siblings, Doug Russell, Fran Kelly, and Janice Markey; her grandchildren, Sarah, Meghan, P.J., Molly, Justin, Sean, and Marissa; four nephews and six nieces.

A Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 20, at 11 a.m. at St. Bridget Church, 80 Main St., Manchester. Burial will be private.

Grandma, I will miss you so much. You taught me so much on how to be a woman mom and grandma that I will carry with me ALWAYS, I will never forget your smile your laugh your voice or your gentle touch you always knew how to lift anyone's spirits even if you were feeling down yourself. You were a fighter all the till the end and I am so proud of you for that. You may be gone but I promise you will never be forgotten I love you and I miss you so much!
