David Horn
May 11, 1965 - October 18, 2024
David E. Horn, 59 of Brighton, Colorado passed away on October 18, 2024, after a courageous three-year battle with cancer. David was a 1983 graduate of Cheney Tech. He served in the US Air Force before leaving Vernon, CT for Colorado. He was an HVAC technician, working in the Denver area. He enjoyed winter sports, but his real passion was working on cars and riding his motorcycle. He was a lover of all animals and had many special ones over the years.
David is survived by his loving and caring wife of ten years, Erin Higgins Horn, his mother, Lucille Horn of Vernon, his sister, Debra Riendeau and her husband Karl of Ashford, his nephew, Gregory Riendeau and family of Ellington, his niece, Kaylee Izzo and family of Southington, as well as many special neighbors and lifelong friends and in Colorado and in Connecticut. David was predeceased by his father, Delbert Horn, and nephew, Adam Riendeau
David's funeral will be held in Colorado, at the convenience of the family.

Dear Lu and family,

I don't know what my first memory was of Dave. He was just there hanging out with my brother. My family loved him always. We didn't get to see him much since he moved to CO. But it was wonderful when we did. You will be so missed . Sending all my love to Mrs Horn, Debby and Erin
