James Emhoff Obituary

James P. Emhoff Sr.
James P. Emhoff, Sr., 87, of Stafford Springs, CT passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 in the comfort of his home with his family. He was born in Stafford, son of the late John and Mary (Tadler) Emhoff. After high school, he served our country in the United States Air Force. He later retired from Connecticut Light and Power after working there for 31 years. He was a member of the Strazza, Tonoli-Emhoff Post No. 26 American Legion, Stafford Fish and Game Club, and the Italian Benefit Society, where he was the dues collector for 35 years. James is survived by his three children, James P. Emhoff, Jr. and his wife Nicolle, Lisa M. Szestowicki and her husband Steven, and Michael J. Emhoff and his wife AnnMarie; nine grandchildren, Elizabeth, Lauren, John, Owen, Meah, Derick, Carolyn, Gracie and Johnny; great-grandson, Ashton; brother, Henry Emhoff; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Nancy (Fontanella) Emhoff; and seven siblings. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a prayer service beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Military honors will conclude the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Strazza, Tonoli-Emhoff Post No. 26 American Legion, 10 Monson Rd., Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
