Jeremy Elkins Obituary
He was born June 23, 1981, in Manchester to Earl and Roseann (Breault) Elkins of Coventry. He is loved by many and will be missed dearly.
Besides his loving wife, Kelly, and his parents, he is also survived by his brother, Ken Elkins, and his wife, Steffanie, of Seymour; his sister, Sadie Russo, and her husband, Randy, of Colorado, and his younger sister, Isis Elkins of Coventry; his grandmother, Jean Elkins of Colchester; his father-in-law, Norman LeBlanc, who loved him like the son he never had.
Jeremy worked at Suburban Subaru in Manchester as an assistant service manager. He was a sweet man with an easy smile who would do anything for anyone.
A celebration of Jeremy's life will be held between 6 and 8 p.m. today, Feb. 12, at the Coventry Volunteer Fire Association Firehouse at 1775 Main St. (Route 31) in Coventry.
The family requests no flowers.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Coventry-Pietras Funeral Home in Coventry.

My heart goes out to Jeremy's family. Jeremy was a great person, and a great friend. I worked with Jeremy at Circuit City from 2001 to 2007. The time he was not working there, everytime I saw him, I tried to get him to come back, and finally he did. His second time at Circuit was the best, man did we have fun. He was someone I could always count on to get the job done. I am glad Jeremy and I became friends and stayed in touch after we left Circuit City. He will be remembered. Thanks Jeremy. -Mark

My deepest condolences to those who knew Jeremy. I had the pleasure of working with Jeremy throughout his time at Circuit City. I also had the pleasure of knowing Kelly in high school. When Jeremy started talking about meeting a Kelly from MHS I was very happy to find out who it was. I have never had 2 friends that fit so perfectly together and who I thought would stand the test of time. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. Kelly, if there is anything Rachel or I can do, please let us know.

I am terribly sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of working closely with Kelly for over one year. She is one of the most vibrant people I have ever met. And for her to lose such a dear part of that light and energy in her life, is tragic beyond words.

I was not lucky enough to know Jeremy in this life, but I know that if he was so beloved by Kelly, his family, and friends, he must have been an incredibly wonderful person.
In times of personal grief, I have always remembered a quote from Robert Ingersoll - "In the night of death, hope sees a star, and listening love can hear the rustle of a wing."
Don't worry, Jeremy. We're with Kelly, watching the night sky.

As one of Jeremy's coworkers for over 3 years, i know he will be missed dearly not just by myself but by everyone in the building. He was an excellent friend at work and would always help in any way possible. Work has not been the same without him there.

Jeremy was my work partner for three years at Suburban Subaru. We worked together 13 hour days. We could quess each others actions and thoughts. We were like a machine. I loved him like a younger brother or younger son,( I am 58). I will miss the closeness and rapport we shared. There were no secrets, and I will miss my friend.He was a caring loving person who would do anything to please a customer, friend, family member, and would be distressed if he could not. I hope he has the peace and comfort that he so righteously deserves and is free from the stress that life can bring in bucketfulls.

Dear Elkins Family,
I would like to extend my deepest heartfelt sympathy for the untimely loss of Jeremy. I have had the privilege to work with and know him during his seven years with Suburban Subaru. In the 22 years I've worked here - Jeremy was far and away one of the kindest, loyal, hardworking, funniest, honest, friendly and caring people to honor us with his presence. He will be missed every day and I hope he is at peace now. He was an exceptional young man and the world just got a little dimmer without him. We were so shocked & upset to read of the untimely passing of Jeremy. We knew him because he and our son, Toby, had been friends and coworkers at one time, and also because he was always there at Subaru when our vehicles were being serviced. He was such a terrific young man--always cheerful, generous, interested, caring, happy, hard-working, and ready to go the extra mile for you.
