John Shusdock Obituary
Oct. 28, 1952 - March 12, 2026
John "Jack" Shusdock, 73, of Enfield, passed on March 12, 2026. He graduated from Enfield High in 1971 and served in the U.S. military. Jack was easy-going, kind, and interested in everyone he met. It was common to see him around town, stopping to ask how someone was doing or how their family was. That was simply a part of him. In 1980, he became a member of the Enfield Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. There, he found a spiritual home and became a cherished presence. Jack found joy in the simple things-listening to oldies, enjoying a donut, and most of all, talking with friends.
A memorial talk will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Enfield, CT (322 N. Maple St.) on April 4, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.

Joan White Jack you had the greatest happy smile. You knew how to relax the householder as you shared the hopeful message for the future, people listened to you. You gave me much comfort when I didn't show up at the Hall when I was sick You always called everyone if they were missing at the hall and asked how they were. I look forward to seeing you in the new world with your beautiful big smile.

We were so sad to hear about our Jack. We will miss his phone calls checking up on us. I know Jehovah will remember him. We all will look forward to seeing him in the New World, and asking us lots of questions! We will miss him.

I miss you so much Jack. You brought so much love to everyone. I'll never forget your beautiful love of Jehovah and people. The kindness you showed to Lauren is such a bright light in my heart. I miss your phone calls "Hello Catherine, Jack here" you make me smile still. Soon we'll b together the way Jehovah Intended it to b. We won't have diabetes and can eat as many doughnuts as we want!!!You are special to Everyone... see u soon...
