Judith Colli Obituary
Judy was raised in Windsor Locks and lived her adult life in Windsor. She graduated from UConn and Central Connecticut State University. Judy was an educator for the East Hartford and Windsor School systems. She was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Peg (Linehan) Colli, as well as her husband, David O'Connor. She had a special love for dogs and was an avid fan of the UConn Huskies. Judy was active for many years with the Special Olympics and other civic organizations.
Judy is survived by her sisters, M. Kathleen Wasseluk (Stephen), Patricia Colli, Jacqueline Colli, Elizabeth Colli (Jon Montigny), and Margaret Colli; her brothers, Thomas (Deborah), Kenneth (Mirna), John (Barbara), and David (Marc McAllister); her in-laws, Leonard and Patti-Ann Whitten, Paul and Christine Wrabel, and Michael O'Connor; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Judy's family would like to thank all of the staff at St. Francis Hospital for their compassionate care during her illness, especially the members of the St. Francis Cancer Center, the oncology department, and palliative care group.
Per Judy's wishes there are no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, April 10, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 42 Spring St., Windsor Locks. Please meet at the church. Burial will follow for Judy and David in St. Mary's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions for cancer care may be made to The Auxiliary of St. Francis, 114 Woodland St., Hartford, CT 06105.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks.
