Michael F. Bullock, 76, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2023, at UConn Medical Center in Farmington, CT. He was born on June 29, 1947, in Lower Waterford, Vermont. Michael was a loving husband, devoted father, cherished grandfather, loving brother and loyal friend.
Michael was widowed by his beloved wife, Donna (Kotas) Bullock, in 2020. Together, they built a life full of love and created a beautiful family. He is survived by his sons, Michael C. Bullock and his wife Heather of South Windsor, and Robert Bullock and his wife Radha of San Francisco, CA. Michael was a proud grandfather to his three grandchildren, Danny, Matthew, and Kaitlyn. He was predeceased by a grandson, Connor Bullock.
He was also predeceased by sister Darlene Bullock, and sister and brother in law Cheryl and Patrick McElroy. He is survived by four siblings, Frank and William Bullock, Linda Bullock, and Theresa Davio. Michael's life was enriched by the enduring friendships he maintained throughout the years, particularly with long time friends Melissa and Jim Dopp.
Michael was raised on a farm in lower Waterford Vermont, before graduating from Littleton High School class of 1965. He then attended LeTourneau University in Texas before enlisting in the U.S. Air Force. While stationed in TX he met the love of his life Donna. They were married after his service in Vietnam, and together they raised their family in Connecticut.
Michael cherished his daily walks, especially in the Enfield Square Mall, where he was able to meet new people and form new friendships. He was an avid reader of history and Louis L'Amour Western Novels. He also enjoyed volunteering his time to help friends and various charities, particularly the Multiple Sclerosis Society Walk.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, December 7, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. Services and burial will be private.
