Michael Chmielewski Obituary

He was born in Feeding Hills, MA to Michael and Julia (Bekel) where he was raised his five siblings.
Michael retired from a printing career at Veeder Root in Hartford, but he was better known as the owner of the M. He leaves his wife, Mildred (Christian) Chmielewski, just one week shy of their 68th wedding anniversary. He also leaves a sister, Helen Kiselewski, many nieces and nephews, including godchildren, Jack Christian, Louise Schuhlen and Benji Simborski. as well as his special adopted grandchildren, Joseph, William and Anna Walker. He is predeceased by his brothers, Walter and Stanley, and sisters Wanda Kane and Bernice Simborski.
His family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 4-7 PM at Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St. N. (Rt. 159), Suffield. Family and friends may gather on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 9:00 AM at Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Mary, Gate of Heaven Parish, St. Mary Church, Windsor Locks. Uncle Mike was a GREAT inspiration to us all!
He never complained and usually cracked a joke to make us laugh. I have many fond memories of him, especially from my childhood. I remember playing in the basement with my dear cousin, Paula, and we would imagine we were in the paintings he painted.
You will surely be missed Uncle Mike.....
My sincerest condolences to Aunt Millie, and family
Thank you to everyone that has been involved in his care taking these several years plus.
