Michael Furnari Obituary

Michael Anthony Furnari, 20, beloved and cherished firstborn son of Charles and Sheryl (Winston) Furnari, passed away suddenly June 30, 2015, at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Rockville, Tuesday, Sept. 13, 1994, Michael grew up in Stafford Springs. He was a 2012 graduate of Windham Technical High School in Willimantic, majoring in HVAC. Most recently he was employed by Nutmeg Mechanical Services as an apprentice service technician. In addition to his parents he is survived by his loving brother, CJ; his paternal grandparents, Chuck and Joan Furnari, of Enfield; his uncle, Edwin "Butch" Furnari and his wife, Teri, of Somers; his cousins, Kalia Furnari, of Agawam, Massachusetts, Alyssa Furnari, of California, Anthony Furnari, of Texas, and Linzi Furnari, of Stafford; his uncle, Mark Furnari and his wife, Karen, of East Granby; and his cousin, Brittany Furnari, of Pennsylvania; his aunt, Jodie (Winston) Buanno and her husband, Comie, of Enfield; his uncle, Greg Winston; and cousins, Ryan and Jessica Winston, of Stafford Springs; as well as many relatives on the Bennett/Lepak side, the Haskell/Pelletier side, and the Fabbri side of the family, not to mention countless close dear, dear friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, George "Bradley" and Joan Winston, of Somers; and his uncle, Michael Winston of Somers; as well as his aunt, Amy (Krasinski) Winston, of Stafford Springs. Michael, in his younger years, enjoyed playing baseball and football for the town of Stafford as well as dirt biking and just spending time with his brother, family and friends. He will be sorely missed by all. Services are to be held privately at the request of the family.
