Peter Kingsbury Obituary

With heavy hearts, and deep sorrow, we announce the unexpected passing of Peter Kingsbury, from medical complications, on Jan. 27, 2021.

Peter was born and raised in Coventry. He returned to Coventry in 2000, to raise his family. Peter served as a radioman in the U.S. Navy on the USS Groton. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bird watching, woodworking, and spending time with his family. As a 22-year cancer survivor, he overcame many challenges and surpassed all odds. His strong will to live was supported by his wife and children who were with him every day and through it all.

He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Margaret. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Laurie; his children, Peter Jr., Kyla, Jack, and Tiffany; and granddaughter, Aubrie; siblings, Richard and Pat, Hannah Jane, Roberta and Mark; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.

Services will be private and held at a later date due to COVID concerns.

I will always remember shooting Este's Rockets with Pete and his one liner, "Don't sweat the small stuff." You will be missed my friend.
