Priscilla Talgren Obituary
She was born in Montgomery, Vt., on Feb. 26, 1925, daughter of the late Harold and Pearl (Westover) Harnois. She is survived by her sister, Christine Stanley of Tolland; her brothers, Richard Harnois, and his wife, Helen, of Texas, and Lawrence Harnois, and his wife, Barbara, of Stafford; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her two brothers, Raymond and Clyde Harnois.
Priscilla was a lovely woman who had many, many friends. She took pride in her home and in her yard. She enjoyed the great outdoors of Vermont, loved traveling through the Amish country, and especially enjoyed her day-trips with Larry and Barb. She was known for her beautiful, contagious smile. Pat will truly be missed.
The family would like to send a very special thank you to Norah from Norah's Place and to the wonderfully, caring staff who took such loving care of Priscilla.
Relatives and friends may join the family for calling hours from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at the Small and Pietras Funeral Home, 65 Elm St., Rockville.
A service will be held on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at St. John's Episcopal Church, 523 Hartford Turnpike, Vernon, at 1 p.m. Meet at church. Burial will be on Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Mount Hope Cemetery in Hastings on Hudson, N.Y. Meet at cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Priscilla's name to the Alzheimer's Association, 2075 Silas Deane Highway, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
