Roberta Roy Obituary

Roberta Roy
Roberta Roy, 66, of Enfield, CT, passed away peacefully at home on August 4, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Born in Manchester, CT, on April 25, 1959, Roberta graduated from Enfield High School in 1977. She worked in the Enfield school system for 19 years as a teacher's aide and paraprofessional, where she helped to make a lasting difference in many students' lives.
Roberta was known for her kindness, warmth, and quiet strength. Her deep faith in God was the foundation of her life and guided everything she did - from how she loved others to how she faced every challenge with grace. She found joy in gardening and spending time outdoors.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Roy; her children, Kyle Roy and his wife Saveria Giangrosso, and Brandie Roy; her mother, Jeannette Roy; her sister, Michele Lizee; and her brother, Victor Roy.
Her family will receive friends on Thursday, August 7, from 5-7 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. A Graveside Service will take place on Friday, August 8, at 11:00 a.m. at Hazardville Cemetery, Elm St., Enfield. A procession will gather at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Connecticut Brain Tumor Alliance or the Glioblastoma Foundation.

Roberta was a wonderful neighbor and a pleasure to know for the brief time we crossed paths. I admired her passion for gardening and her kindness to my children. My condolences and prayers to the lovely Roy family.
