Along with her parents, Sally was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Jr., who passed away 26 years ago. Sally is survived by her two children, son Michael Ivaldi and his wife, Lisa, and daughter, Debra Carlson and her husband, Benjamin; sister, Ellen Golden; sister-in-law, Jean Dickson. Sally brought joy. Always a smile and true friendship. She helped with establishing the Vernon Teen Center in memory of my son. Years could pass without seeing each other but when we talked, it was as if only a day went by. We shared our losses and our difficult times, and I always knew Sally would be the same-kind, open, and caring. I will miss you, my friend.
