Susan E. Berube, 73, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Hartford Hospital.
She was born in Coronado, CA, daughter of the late Alfred and Frances (Siembab) Cote. Susan had previously worked as a site manager for the Town of Enfield. She enjoyed nature, going for walks, flowers, animals, and going to the beach and picking up sea shell, and going to her grandchildren's sporting events. She was always a giver, not a receiver. Above all, she loved God and her family.
Susan is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Richard Berube; two daughters, Sarah Lipscomb and Barbi Stebbins and her husband, Nathan; son-in-law, Richard Lepage; eight grandchildren, Timothy, Andrew, and Samantha Kolaczenko, Kaitlyn and Christopher Lepage, Adam Brassard, and Derek and Max Stebbins; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Aggie Sampson and Christine Nagle; several nieces and nephews; and her grand fur babies, whom she adored so much and loved to walk with them. She was predeceased by her daughter, Jennifer Lepage; and sister, Janet Blake.
Funeral services with burial in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held privately.
