Thomas Benoit Obituary

Thomas A. Benoit, Sr., age 90, of Clearwater, FL, formerly of Manchester and Vernon, CT, passed away May 3, 2025, after a short illness.
He leaves his son and daughter, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Tom was the "Tom" in Steve's and Tom's Pizza and a former mayor of Vernon. He was active in politics and very community-minded, always a smile on his face, and a friend to all. Services will be private, at the convenience of the family. Donations in his memory can be made to any Humane Society.

Sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I knew him for many decades from when I was on the Vernon Police Dept and thereafter. Of course via Steve & Tom's Pizza. He was always affable and was a true long time public servant. Rest in Peace, Tom.

I knew Tom back in the Tom&Steve days through sports.And much later had a 15 year collaboration try to get a good friend inducted into the Manchester Sports Hall of Fame. It wasn´t to be but we gave it our best. My sincere condolences to his family. Dave Krinjak
