Thomas Doherty Obituary

Thomas Michael Doherty, 57, of Windsor Locks, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 25, 2017, He left behind his mother, Barbara; two brothers, Bryan, Joshua and his wife, Terry; three sisters, Bonnie, Kim, Karen; and nieces and nephews.

He was born in Manchester and raised in Rockville. Thomas served two years in the U.S Army and was honorably discharged. Thomas was a gentle giant, with a big heart. Loved by all, quick to lend a hand or make a friend.

A Memorial service for Thomas will be held Tuesday, Dec. 5, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Cremation Society Funeral Home in Windsor, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor, CT 06095.

Norman

Nelson "Wally" Norman, 81, of East Windsor, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017.

He was born in Hartford on Sept. 19, 1936, the son of the late Nelson "Nook" Norman, Sr. and Cora Laroche. He was a lifelong resident of East Windsor and retired from TLC Oil Company.

Nelson is survived by two daughters, Rose Larson of East Windsor, and Lorrie Langan of Windsor Locks; a sister, Mabel Wages of Enfield; seven beloved grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Nelson was predeceased by his wife, Donna Lee Hyde Norman; and a son, Irason Norman.

All services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
