I knew Bill in the early '70s. I worked at Bauer electric in the office. He was a foreman on many different jobs and I always remember what a gentleman and what a pleasure it was to talk to him. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He sounds like he had a full and fun life. Goodbye Bill.. rest in peace.

My mom bowled with Bill and that's how I met him. The group persuaded me to start bowling since I had just retired. Bill was such a gentleman and extremely helpful to me as I threw my share of gutter balls. When I heard his last name was Broughton I asked him if he had a daughter named Ella. It is a small world as I graduated in 1961and knew his daughter. I am sorry for the loss of your Dad but happy to hear he lived a long and beautiful life.

I am sad to hear of the news of Bill's passing. I was privileged to be part of the same bowling league as he a few years ago. Bill was the quintessential gentleman who made you feel like his best friend whenever he greeted you and ... what a voice, yes, he sang at one of our Christmas bowling parties. Such a gifted and accomplished person. A true gem. I leave my condolences for the family and may you all cherish and honor his life and memory. God Bless.
