NORMAN D. FELTMEYER, 86 LANARK - Norman "Pete" D. Feltmeyer, age 86, of Lanark, IL., passed away at FHN Hospital in Freeport, IL. on Friday, January 15, 2016. Pete will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 60 years, Lorraine; son Mike (Darcie) Feltmeyer of Lanark; 3 grandchildren, Jordan (Cindy) Feltmeyer of Lanark, Caleb (Amanda) Feltmeyer of Winnebago, Logan Feltmeyer (Eric Gibbs) of Lanark; 2 great-grandchildren, Benton Michael and Ryan Autumn Feltmeyer; 4 sisters in-law, Marie Kant, Donna Feltmeyer, Pauline Feltmeyer, and LaVonne Feltmeyer; numerous nieces and nephews, and special friends, Jerry and Jan Frye; Dr. Ken Eichholz Jr. and Toni Warfield plus 4 grand-dogs. Pete was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Marie Radford, brothers, Hernando (Ozzie), Allen, Nolan, Paul and Herman Feltmeyer. Mother and Father-in-law, Mabel and Herman Kant; brothers-in law, Lowell "Bud" Kant, Jack Radford, Leo Kant, Harold Carlson, Melvin Heidenreich, sisters-in-law Lucille Feltmeyer, Marge Heidenreich, Mildred Carlson, Virginia Murphy, nephews, Jimmy Feltmeyer, Bob Feltmeyer, Neil Heidenreich, Rodney Heidenreich, and great niece, Jessica McPeek. A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the Lanark United Methodist Church in Lanark with Pastor Jarrod Severing officiating. Burial will take place in the Lanark Cemetery, Lanark. Visitation will be held 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Friday, January 22, 2016 at the Lanark United Methodist Church, with a Masonic service held at 3:30 p.m. prior to visitation. Memorials may be given to the Lanark Volunteer Fire Department, Honor Flight, and the Lanark United Methodist Church in Pete's memory.
