Todd Meyers Obituary
Todd W. Meyers, 62, of Freeport, IL, passed away on October 4, 2019 peacefully at home with family. He was born on October 16, 1956 in Freeport to parents Donald W. and Joanne (Emrick) Meyers. Todd graduated from Freeport High School where he would play football and baseball. Todd was a diehard Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bulls, and Chicago Blackhawks fan. He was also a Nascar fan of Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Todd married Rose Marie Anderson on September 18, 1999. Todd owned Meyers Construction along with his brother Tim.
Survivors include his wife Rose Marie Meyers, step-daughter Kelleen Jean (Danny) Edler, step-son Billy (Emily) Mullarkey, step-son Mike (Diana) Mullarkey, special sister-in-law JoAnn (Mark) Mathews, who was by his side day in and day out helping with his care, along with his wife Rose Marie; sister-in-law Kathleen Sikora, grandchildren Jessica and Isabella Bird, Jackson and Maggie Mullarkey, Katie Mullarkey and Alexis Bettner, nieces Mary Jo Kerr and Korrie Hackett, nephew Joseph Sikora, mother Joanne Meyers, sister Teri (Kevin) Kubatzke, brother Tim (Teal) Meyers, sister Traci (John) Valhogeorge, sister-in-law Beth Meyers, nephews Jason and Justin Kubatzke, Shea and Jayde Meyers, Thomas, and Kyle Meyers, niece Nichole, great nieces Jocelyn Kubatzke, Paisley, and Adriena, great nephew River Kubatzke, uncle Bill and aunt Rose Meyers, and Uncle Harry Emrick.
He was preceded in death by his father Donald W. Meyers, brother Thomas Meyers, in-laws Carol Jean and Gordon Oehls, and grandparents Harold and Marge Meyers.
A visitation will be held on Thursday October 10, 2019 from 5-7 PM, at the Schwarz Park Blvd. Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd. in Freeport. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Please wear Chicago Cubs, Bears, Bulls, or Blackhawks shirts/hoodies. Online condolences can be shared at www.schwarzfh.com
