Allison Sue Meyer (neé Willadsen) passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025. Allison was born June 9, 1956 to Donna and Paul Willadsen in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She was a 1978 graduate of Dana College in Blair, Nebraska and went on to serve in Nebraska state government, first as a legislative aide and then for the state Energy Office.
Allison married Daniel Meyer in 1979 in Lincoln, Nebraska. In addition to her career, she dedicated her time to the American Association of University Women, writing, and the raising of her daughters.
Allison is survived by her daughters, Alexandria and Meredith; her sons-in-law, Derrick and Chad; her grandchildren, Arya, Malcolm, and Rexa; as well as her mother; and three siblings, Mark, Robin, and Eric; and by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. She is pre-deceased by her father; and brother, Jeff.
In lieu of flowers, which she disliked receiving anyway, donations may be made in her name as a proud cancer survivor to the American Cancer Society.
