Michael Meyer Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Boldt Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Mar. 11, 2026.
Michael Lee Meyer, age 39, of Faribault, Minnesota, passed away on March 9, 2026. Mike was born on August 11, 1986, in Ellensburg, Washington.

Mike was a devoted father, loving fiancé, son, brother, and friend. He is survived by his beloved four-year-old son, Charles Stewart, who was the light of his life, and his fiancé, Stacy Bauer. He is also survived by his father, Mark Meyer; his mother, Denise (Lawrence) Vance; his sister, Jenifer Meyer; his brother, Kenneth Meyer; his grandmother, Lynn Swanson; and his grandfather, Mike (Barb) Meyer. Mike also leaves behind his nephew, Christian Hernandez, and his niece, Chloe Winkelman, along with many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.

Earlier in his career, Mike worked as a manager at Jimmy John's, where he built many friendships and was known for his hardworking and outgoing personality. He later worked as an iron worker with Local Union 512 and also at Nagel Sod and Nursery. No matter the job, Mike was known for his strong work ethic and for always being willing to lend a helping hand whenever someone needed it.

Outside of work, Mike had a deep love for fishing-especially chasing big fish wherever he could find them, whether it was in the ocean or along the river. He also had a passion for collecting agates and other rare rocks that he would discover while landscaping.

Mike had a big personality and an even bigger heart. He was often the life of the party and never worried about what people thought of him. He lived life fully, laughed loudly, and loved the people around him with everything he had. His family and friends knew that no matter what, Mike would always show up when someone needed him. He had a generous spirit and would do anything for the people he loved.

Above all else, Mike was a devoted father. His son Charles was the center of his world, and he was incredibly proud of the little boy who wanted to do everything just like his dad.

The world feels a little quieter without Mike in it, but his laughter, his stories, and the love he gave will never be forgotten. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, his friends, and especially in his son.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be sent to 831 30th St NW Faribault, Mn 55021
