Barbara Jane Bartek, 85, of Wahoo, NE, passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Lakeside Retirement Living in Omaha, NE.
She is survived by four children, Steve Bartek, Wahoo, NE, Doug Bartek (Lori), Hooper, NE, Amy Masiongale (Jim), Raymore, MO, Joe Bartek (Rachel), Omaha, NE. She is also survived by six granddaughters she adored., Molly Stieren (Noah), Louisville, NE, Hannah Masiongale-Shook (Rob), Augusta, GA, Chloe Bartek (Kirk Martin), Ft. Riley, KS, Olivia Bartek, Kacy Bartek and Ally Bartek, Omaha, NE. Great Grandchildren, Addison and Alex Stieren, Louisville, NE. Brothers, Gary Johnson and Larry (Lois) Johnson. Sister, Marilyn Langemeier.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Bartek. Parents, Julius and Vera Johnson. Brother, Roger Johnson. Sister, Patricia Osborne.
Funeral Service, Friday, December 8, 2023 11:00 AM at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 504 W. 8th St., Wahoo, NE. Visitation, Thursday, December 7, 2023 5:00-7:00 PM at Svoboda Funeral Home, Wahoo, NE.
Memorials in care of the family for the Luther College Liberal Arts program at Midland University.
