Clark Alton Springman, 88, of Lincoln passed away April 9, 2023. Born September 26, 1934, in Lincoln, NE to Alton and Mona Springman.
Clark graduated from Palmyra High School (1951) as Valedictorian, received his BS degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Nebraska Lincoln (1957). He married Karen Schug on May 21, 1983.
Clark was employed in advertising with Cushman Motors (Lincoln), United States Gypsum (Chicago), and Gulf + Western Corporation (Oak Brook and Des Plaines, IL). He retired in 1992, after 14 years as Advertising Manager for Symons Corporation in Des Plaines, IL.
Clark was a member of Palmyra Presbyterian Church, Ancient Order of Free and Accepted Masons, and Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity.Family members include his wife, Karen; son David (Sharon) Springman, Downers Grove, IL; grandchildren Alexandra Springman, North Las Vegas, NV, Christopher Springman, Plano, IL, Jennifer Springman, Phoenix, AZ, and Jack Springman, Downers Grove, IL; great granddaughter Kendall Springman. Preceded in death by his parents, daughter Jennifer, sons Jeffrey and Gregory Springman.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Friday, April 14, 2023, Roper and Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Dr. Burial will be at the Rosewood Cemetery, Palmyra, NE at 1:30 pm.
Visitation with family present from 4-7 pm Thursday, April 13, 2023, Roper and Sons South Lincoln Chapel.
Memorials to the Capital Humane Society or donor's choice.

We knew Clark as a resident at the facility where my father also lives. Several months ago, enjoyed listening to Clark share about his time with the railroad and his work life. He was friendly and sharp. Rest in Peace, sir.
