Donna Konecky

Donna Mae Konecky, 78 of Lincoln, peacefully passed away March 5, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

Donna was born on August 23, 1947 in Wahoo to Martin and Blanche (Jansa) Wotipka. She graduated from Wahoo High and then moved to Lincoln, where she went to Lincoln School of Commerce. She married Larry Konecky in 1966 and they made Lincoln their home.

Donna's first love was her family. She treasured spending time with her grandchildren.

She was a long time member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, where she was a dedicated volunteer.

Donna is survived by her sons: Jason (wife, Cheri) Konecky and Gary (wife, Kendy) Konecky; and grandchildren, Shelby, Abbey, Gabbi, Kylie and Emily.

She is also survived by sisters, Rose Ann (husband, Bob) Pecha and Marilyn (husband, Tom) Noha; and nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Larry.

Visitation, with the family present, will be on Monday, March 9, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Butherus Maser and Love, 4040 A St. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 7601 Vine St, Lincoln. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at Lincoln Memorial Park, please gather at Gate 2 at 1:45 p.m.
