Survivors: wife, Betty, Independence, Mo.; daughter, son-in-law, Anne and Rod Downey, Raymore, Mo.; sons, daughters-in-law, Dennis Rupert, Lebanon, Tenn., Donn and Rebecca Rupert, Merritt Island, Fla., David and Kim Rupert, Lebanon, Tenn.; grandchildren, Jennifer Downey, Smithton, Mo., Lindsey Downey, Raymore, Mo., Eric Rupert, Merritt Island, Fla., Shane Rupert, Autumn Rupert, Ashley Miller, all of Lincoln; great-grandchildren, Jesse Rupert, Porsche Miller, both of Lincoln; brother, sister-in-law, Richard and Dorothy Rupert, Boulder, Colo.; sister, brother-in-law, Virginia and Dr. Richard Bartley, Springfield, Mo.; nieces; nephews. Preceded in death by parents.
Services: 2 p.m. Friday, First Lutheran Church, ELCA; 1551 S. 70th St. Pastor Harlan Heier officiating. Lincoln Memorial Park, 6700 S. 14th St. Visitation: 5-9 p.m. Thursday, Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th St.; one hour before services Friday, church. Memorials in lieu of flowers, in care of the family.

Our family has known Forrie Rupert since the 1950's. Our brother, Gayle Rosecrans was Forrie's brother-in-law. We are sending our deepest sympathy to his family on his recent death. He was a very nice man and always acknowledged us at family get-togethers. Sincerely, Jean Uarich and Joyce Weeks
