November 5, 1959 - February 18, 2024
Gary died suddenly at home after a health battle that he never gave up on, his positive attitude and connections with his family, friends and his AA group of friends helped to lengthen his life. Gary was always grateful to his doctors and nurses, as these people became a big part of his life.
Gary is survived by his wife, Julie of 36 years; his son, Ryan; and his daughter, Sarah; sister, Kim Brown; and brother-in-law, Dr. Stephen Brown, Prescott, AZ; Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and his faithful beagle, Parker. Preceded in death by his father, Gary E.; brother, Randy A.; and his mother, Diane P. Smith (Geier).
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2024, at First Free Church, 3280 S 84th Street, Lincoln, NE. Condolences: www.bmlfh.com.
