LINCOLN - George Pavlas, 87, of Lincoln, Neb., passed away on December 14, 2024. Member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Serra Club of Lincoln, Acolyte, Navy Veteran and worked at the VA in Lincoln. Memorials to St. Mary Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 14th & K Streets. Burial will follow at Omaha National Cemetery.
Condolences can be sent to www.bmlfh.com Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.

George was a faithful volunteer at Matt Talbot Kitchen here in Lincoln. We could always count on him to operate the coffee machine. He was the only one who could get it to work without having a mess on our hands. Thank you, George, for your service and your willingness to help where you could. Wish I had gotten to know you better.

George and I grew up in the same neighborhood. We spent lots of time together playing all sports and just hanging out with each other. Great memories.
