Ramona Helen Pavlas, 59, of Taylor, was sent to her eternal home on Thursday, June 5, 2025.
Ramona was born on December 17, 1965, in Houston, Texas, to Jake and Helen (Vala) Pavlas. She grew up with an older brother and a younger sister. Ramona graduated from Taylor High School in 1984, and attended Austin Community College where she pursued an Associate’s Degree in Mid-Management. She was an administrative assistant employed by the State of Texas. In 2010, she continued her education at Virginia College in Austin and earned a degree in medical billing and coding. She enjoyed traveling to visit her family and friends. She always had somewhere to go and someone to visit. Ramona was a caring soul and always spoke up to help someone else in need. She enjoyed playing games with her friends in her living community, and she embraced her Czech culture and heritage. She was always ready to cheer on her favorite sports teams: Aggie football and Houston Astros.
Ramona is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother, Jake Pavlas, Jr. and wife Branda; her sister Monica Revette and husband Gilbert; 2 nephews, 4 nieces, 2 great nephews, 2 great nieces, and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00pm on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor, Texas.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Friday, June 13, 2025, at St. Mary’s Church of the Assumption, Praha, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of your choice.
