Jean E. Hesser, 79, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024. She was born on November 30, 1945, in Lexington, Neb., to Ralph and June (Westerlin) Burns. Jean was a devoted member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Grand Island, Neb., and had a fulfilling 40-year career at Wesco in Grand Island before her retirement.
Jean is survived by her children, TJ (Elke) Hesser, Beth (Jeff) Apple, and Kurt Hesser; grandchildren, Brook Apple, Brady Apple, Karson Hesser, Cody Hesser, Alex Hesser, and Christopher Hesser; brother, Bill (Barb) Burns; and her sisters-in-law, Meredith Krauter and Mary Hesser. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Clay Hesser.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home, 4040 A Street, Lincoln, NE. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. A private family interment will be held at the Grand Island Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be designated to a charity or cause that holds significance to you, in memory of Jean. Condolences online at www.bmlfh.com.
