First and foremost, my condolences go out to Kevin's family and friends. I know that words cannot replace the emptiness you feel. I worked with Kevin for about the last five years, and throughout those years developed one friendship I'll never forget. Kevin was truly an enthusiastic person. It didn't matter if it was something work-related, sports-related or some personal issue, he was always upbeat about it. I'll never forget his love of sports. I don't think I've ever met anyone as enthused about baseball as Kevin (ya gotta love those Royals - win or lose, he was always rootin'), basketball ranked right up there as well... I always looked forward to those emails with the NCAA brackets coming out - count on Kevin for that one! Golf league... good round or bad, he was a true competitor, and enjoyed it no matter how it turned out. I’ll remember also that Kevin treasured his family and friends. He was always in search of the perfect birthday present. Whether it be cutting a CD filled with music, that logo jacket of his friends’ favorite team, or something special for the nephew he raved about… he put a lot of thought into each gift to make it just right. Kevin, may God be watching over you.
With a friends’ love,
Scott.

My deepest sympathies to the family. As we go along in life, we are blessed with a few true friends. I was lucky enough to call Kevin my best friend. We did alot together. Every Wednesday driving out to the golf league that we were a part of, I get chills because Kevin should be in the seat next to me. We weren't very good, but we had a hell of time out there. I miss Kevin very much. This fall will be very hard cuz we were would always get together every other week to watch some football game. My wife and kids miss Kevin too. The boys loved it when he came over. He would always throw the ball to them, or just roughhouse with them. Kevin will always be with me. If friends or family ever need someone to talk to, call or email me and we will get together. Love you Kevin.
Your friend always, Jason.

Kevin, I'll miss you always. Kevin was a great friend of mine and will always be in my heart. My deepest sympathy goes out to all family, friends and co-workers. knowing him for 27 years I really knew him well,we did everything together growing up. One of my favorite tv shows is the Wonder Years...I guess that is because I can watch it and put Kevin or me in that episode. There is no one word to describe Kevin other than he was a GREAT GUY. Through Kevin I've met alot of great people...Yah I was probably loaded but I met ya...and had fun. Just thought I'd let you know Kevin thought very highly of his friends and co-workers...you know who you are. I could write pages of memories about Kevin but it would take me months possibly years. If anyone out there would like to get together and share memories email me or call me at (402) 784-3837. Kevin I had 27 great years of life with ya and I miss you alot....love you always your friend Bouc.

I personally did not know Kevin. I do know, Angie, Kevin's sister-in-law. I have known Angie for a few years through working directly with her with the City of Lincoln. We have kept in touch after I left via-email and telephone. Even though I had never been lucky enough to have met Kevin, I can see the lives he has touched through these entries and also how much he was loved and will be missed by his family. The last few weeks have been difficult for Angie, as well as the Dudek family. There was always that bit of hope that she held in her heart and sleepless nights dealing with the fear and unknown. God must've needed another angel, and he chose Kevin. We may never have all the answers but we always have that HOPE that we will see him again someday. God Bless his family and friends and give them strength now to hold on to that promise.

Kevin,
I will always miss you and the "grin" that you always had on your face. I am glad that I became closer to you in the last year because I got to see how much of a great guy you are and always will be. You meant a lot to me and Rob and don't ever forget that. I am looking forward to seeing you again someday and I know that you will be looking down on us.
Love,
Andrea

Kevin,
I miss you a great deal. I love you and will always remember the great times that I spent with you and how good you made me feel. We were all fortunate to have you in our lives, you truly impacted everyone. I know that you are still here with me, but I can't see you. However, I will see you again; it will be great. If I have to wait another 50 years, it'll be worth it. 50 years is like a blink of the eye when compared to eternity, and I can't wait. You were the nicest guy that I have ever met. Thank you for being my friend. I love you KD and we'll see you then.
Your friend always

I knew Kevin through work at FB. He was a great programmer - the quality of the work mattered to him. More importantly he was a friend to me. I always enjoyed BSing with him. No surprise that the topic was usually sports, but it never really mattered. Whatever the topic, Kevin was sincere about and true to what he believed in and respected what I believed in - a true friend. I'll always think of Kevin when I hear that pitchers and catchers are reporting. He was always so excited about a new season - you kind of have to be when you're a Royals fan (you know I couldn't resist that KD). Kevin made sure to give me the "countdown" to the report date on a regular basis, mostly because he knew I didn't care and it drove me nuts. Well Kevin, 220 days until pitchers and catchers report. I'll miss you Kevin.

I met Kevin about 7 years ago and he will truly be missed by all those who knew him. The last time I really got to hang out with Kevin was for the NCAA championship this year. Although Duke lost he was still upbeat and had a great time the rest of the night, despite all of us giving him a hard time about them loosing. We will miss you Kevin and will remember all the great memories....

We would like to thank all of Kevin's friends for your help and support over the past several weeks. Also, thank you for the letters, phone calls and personal memories you have shared with us. Kevin's website at www.geocities.com/kdudah lists all of the professional sporting events Kevin attended if any of you wish to take a look. We are going to print this guest book around August 1 so we can keep the memories you have shared.
Thank you,
Gary & Cindy

I am very sorry for your loss of your son Kevin. Kevin was a great friend of mine that I have had the pleasure to know over the past 7 years. I will miss him very much and will always remember our time outside of work such as ski trips and going to ball games. You will be missed Kev but if I can think of one thing that puts a smile on my face when I think of you it was the time in Keystone with the boys where you bought that large yellow KC baseball cap and we had our fun with you calling it a "hard hat" In fantasy football this year I will keep your teams legacy alive by merging with my squad Kev-- we will be unbeatable!

I personally only knew Kevin for a couple of years, but Kevin came into my life at a very crucial time and lifted me up to new heights. He allowed me to see the world from a different perspective and taught me how to truly live life to the fullest. Even though he has passed, his hopes, dreams, and teachings will live through many...including myself. I love him and miss him very much, and he will never be far from my heart. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who is grieving over the loss of his life, but most of all, I pray for his family and close friends. May the Lord be with you, now and always.

Kevin was one of the most adorable, loving, and caring friends I have ever had. He had a way to make me look at things differently, and had a way to cheer me up no matter what was wrong. He could be the funniest guy at times or be completely serious when you needed him. He always had advice. I miss him so much!! I want his family to know my thoughts and prayers are with them.

To Kevin's Family:
Although I don't know any of you very well at all, I know how hard the past weeks have been on you. As a friend of KD, it's been hard on many of us too. We all miss him now and will miss him more as time goes by. I have a lot of great memories of Kevin as I'm sure you all do. May you all know that you're all in our thoughts and prayers and we will help in any way we can. May God Bless you during this time and always.
