It is with great sorrow and a profound sense of loss that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, and a genuine soul, Leonard Charles Krcmarik, known as Len, Lenny, or, affectionately by his family, Junior. He departed this life on September 8, 2023.
Born on May 4, 1949, in Lincoln, NE, Len was infinitely generous and always ready to lend a helpful hand and compassionate ear. He lived a full, vibrant life, characterized by laughter and spending time with the people he enjoyed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Sr., and Marie (Nightengale) Krcmarik; and sisters, Carolyn Marie (Krcmarik) Barton, Betty Jean Krcmarik, and grandson, Bryan Leonard Hinrichs.
Len is survived by his loving wife of almost 55 years Colleen Krcmarik; children, Angela (Luther) Hinrichs, Marshall (Nicole) Krcmarik; grandchildren, Victoria, Miles, and Allison Hinrichs, Cole and Trever Krcmarik; great-grandson, Ryan Krcmarik.
A celebration of Len's life will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 5200 R Street. In honor of Len, the family requests casual attire.
