December 13, 1940 - June 10, 2022

Marilyn Kay Pester, age 81, of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022. Marilyn was born December 13, 1940 to Erich and Pauline Baars. She began working in insurance at State Farm from 1957 until 1968 at which time she stayed home to raise her children. She returned to insurance in 1988 until 2021 for All American Insurance Company until her health forced retirement.

She is survived by, husband of 60 years, Les Pester; daughter, Pamela Pester; sons, Bart (Kathy) Pester and Jon Pester; grandchildren, Sarah and Anna Pester; brother, Neil (Shirley) Baars; sister, Paula (Dick) Boyd; and brother, Rodney Baars. Marilyn is preceded in death by, parents; sisters, Myra Hawley and Nadyne Bryson.

A funeral service will be 10 am Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home 6800 S. 14th Street, Lincoln. Memorials are suggested to American Lutheran Church 4200 Vine Street, Lincoln. Condolences to www.lincolnfh.com.
