Marshall Lee Whittemore 83, of Lincoln passed away January 23, 2024. Born in Tecumseh, NE on June 19, 1940, to Rodney and Sara (Upton) Whittemore.

Retired former owner of Whittemore Sprinkler Company.

Family members include his son, Jeffrey L. (Nancy) Whittemore; daughter, Tracy A. Whittemore, all of Lincoln; seven grandchildren: Elizabeth D. Brown, Chelsea Whittemore, Cassie Whittemore, Brylee Whittemore, Camryn Payne, Ashley Brown, and Landyn Brown; two great-grandchildren: Hazel Mae Payne and Lila Wren Payne. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Peggy; sister, Lynne Oenbring.

Memorial service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 3, 2024, Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel 4300 'O' St.

Memorials in lieu of flowers to Peoples City Mission or Wounded Warrior Project.

I had the privilege to work for and with Moss for a number of years while I was working my way through college. Moss and Peg became good friends with Kathy and I and I'll never forget the great times we had together ! He will be missed! My condolences to his family! Jim & Kathy Penrod
