Roger H. Graff, 91, passed on January 11, 2021. Roger was born in Firth, NE to Floyd and Violet (Beck)Graff on December 4, 1929. Roger married Sharon Reckling on July 6, 1951 in Dakota City, NE. To this union, three children were born; Nadine, David and Joleen (Jody). He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After 37 years as a U.S. Postal Service Clerk, Roger retired in 1985. He continued to help his father on the family farm. Roger and Sharon loved to travel and see friends. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. Roger is survived by his wife of over 69 years, Sharon; son David (Jacque) Graff; daughter, Joleen (Jody) Suchan; Brother, Clifford Graff; grandchildren, Dr. Jennifer Elliott (Kelly Maxwell), Tony (Lisa) Graff, Alicia (Aaron) Clements, April (Keegan) Bacon, Amber (John) Black, and Tim (Lyndsay) Snider; step-grandchildren, Cori Princell (Stefan Gary); great-grandchildren, Elliot Maxwell; Jordyn, Jolee, and Jace Graff; Drake, Violet, and Guy Clements; Alexis, Kayden, Knox and Atley Bacon; Cole and Shelby Snider; step-great-grandchildren, Felix and Julia Gary. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter and son-in-law, Nadine and Jeffery Elliott. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Memorials to CEDARS Home for Children. I´m so sorry to hear of Roger´s passing. My sympathy to Sharon and Tony and the whole family. I can see him enjoying a laugh with Lyle in heaven. He was such a kind and sweet soul.
