Sherry Murphy Obituary

Sherry Murphy, age 82, of Lincoln, Neb., (formerly of Hemet, Calif.) passed away June 24, 2025. Born in 1943 in Valentine, Neb., and raised in the Sparks area. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Sherry and her husband, Jim, shared 62 years of marriage. She is survived by her husband; sons Tim Murphy of Kearney, Neb.; Todd (Tak) Murphy of Laguna Niguel, Calif.; and Sean (Kristin) Murphy of Lincoln, Neb.; and daughter Shelley Murphy of Idaho Falls, Idaho; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Rosary at Butherus, Maser & Love Tuesday, July 1st at 6:30 p.m. Funeral service at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lincoln Wednesday, July 2nd at 10:30 a.m. Memorials may be directed to St. Vincent de Paul - St. Joseph's chapter or Catholic Social Services of Lincoln. Condolences: www.bmlfh.com
