Virginia A. Kunc

Virginia A. Kunc, 96, passed away on May 30, 2024, in Lincoln, NE. She was born on July 5, 1927, in Beatrice, NE.
Virginia was a woman of faith and inspired many. She taught elementary school for 20-plus years from country school to Tri-County public schools. She was active in church groups and attended daily mass when able.
Funeral services will be on June 8, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., a Rosary will be said at the Cathedral of the Risen Christ followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Lunch will follow at Blessed John 23rd. The burial of cremains will be held at the vEvergreen Cemetery in Beatrice, Nebraska on July 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.
Virginia is survived by her son, Larry Kunc; two grandsons: Patrick Kunc and Michael Kunc; and the Anton Vu family.
Memorials in lieu of flowers, can be made to the Cathedral of the Risen, Christ or the charity of your choice.

So sorry, I just found out today . I worked with her several years at DeWitt -Plymouth Elementary and Tri County. She was one of a kind and always had her students best interests at heart. Her grandsons were always special to her.
